Born and raised in Spain, I earned a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education at the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Cincinnati, and a B.A. in English Philology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I have taught in several colleges and universities in the Chicago area before coming to Yale in 2007, where I mainly teach elementary and intermediate Spanish.
My areas of interest are varied:

-Children’s literature at the undergraduate level
